What is the Celiac Wellbeing Check?

Recommended for individuals with Celiac Disease once a year after diagnosis to ensure compliance with the gluten-free diet, assess nutrition status, and quality of life.

  • 1 – 90 minute initial assessment with a Registered Dietitian (RD)

    • Medical/Family/Social History
    • Procedures
    • Food and Nutrition History
    • Medications/Supplements
    • Physical Activity
    • Sleeping Pattern
    • Stress Level
    • Smoking/Alcohol History
  • Assess Celiac Disease Quality of life
  • General recommendations are provided for the identified nutrition diagnosis.
  • Referral (if applicable) to Celiac Confident, Celiac Comfort, or Celiac Wellbeing program for continued nutrition support.
  • Referral (if applicable) to health care providers.

No. Celiac Wellbeing Check is a one-time appointment with a Registered Dietitian (RD) to assess your adherence to gluten-free diet, nutritional status, and quality of life with Celiac Disease. 

This is recommended once a year for everyone diagnosed with Celiac Disease to ensure you are leading your best satisfying, and healthy life. 

If applicable your Registered Dietitian (RD) may refer you to the Celiac Confident, Celiac Comfort, and Celiac Wellbeing programs and/or healthcare provider. 

No. All clients are seen virtually through an HIPPA secure and encrypted software, Practice Better, which can be accessed using a smartphone, tablet, or computer. 

No. At this point, Celiac Simplified is out-of-network with all insurance companies.
